on some hand-crafted goodness...

By hand-crafted goodness I mean my new favorite Nutella Mug Cake. Indeed, cake in a mug. And best of all it takes like five minutes to make it. So here's what you need.
4 tablespoons self-rising flour
4 tablespoons white sugar
1 egg
3 tablespoons cocoa powder
3 tablespoons Nutella
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons olive or vegetable oil
(By the way self-rising flour is easy to make. For one cup of self-rising flour use-- 1 cup of flour, 1 1/4 teaspoon baking powder and a pinch of salt. That's all. Easy peasy!)

First combine all the ingredients above into your favorite coffee mug. Better make sure it's a good sized one. So, just dump all those ingredients into the mug and whisk well with a fork until it's all smooth & creamy. Next you pop it in the microwave and microwave it for about 1 1/2 minutes (depending on the wattage of your microwave, mine took about 1 1/2). Once you hear the *ding* your delicious cake is ready. Well, sort of. Put some whipped cream and chocolate drizzle on top or just sprinkle some cocoa to garnish and then you're finally ready to devour your mug cake :)
Here is what mine looked like.
Lovely fluffy sweet goodness in a cup. Perfect for sharing with a special someone  i.e your husband or a little boy that I might know ;) I think it would be perfect for a quick dessert when you have a few people over. How super fun would it be to hand your guests each a mug with their dessert inside! Fun!
I encourage all of you to try this out sometime this week. It's quick, it's easy and I'm sure most of you will have all the ingredients in your kitchen. You can thank me later :D
